Weather for gasoline spill at Anacortes

Winds:
Winds are expected to be from the SSE this morning at 10 - 20 knots. A frontal passage is
expected between 1 and 3 PM this afternoon. This will result in the winds becoming SW at
15 - 20 knots this afternoon after the frontal passage.
Tonight winds are expected to be from the SW at 10 - 15 knots along the South side of
Padilla Bay and S to SW at 15 - 25 knots in Rosario Straits.
Tomorrow winds are expected to be about 10 knots from the south for the entire day.
Precipitation:
Scattered rain showers are expected today.
Severe Weather Note:
With the frontal passage expected between 1 and 3 PM afternoon, wind gusts could be very
strong and from variable directions for a short period. No thunderstorm or lightening
activity is expecte from the frontal passage.
